TRIPFLIP — TERMS & CONDITIONS (T&C)

This document is an agreement between Tripflip (Individual Proprietorship) (“we”, “our”, “Tripflip”) and any person (“user”, “buyer”, “seller”, “you”) who accesses or uses our website or mobile application Tripflip.in. By accessing Tripflip, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Definitions
- Booking / Hotel Booking: A non-refundable hotel room reservation purchased by a user from any external travel portal or hotel.
- Seller: A user who lists their unused/non-refundable booking on Tripflip for resale.
- Buyer: A user who purchases a listed booking through Tripflip.
- Service: The platform provided by Tripflip to connect sellers and buyers for resale of non-refundable hotel bookings.
- Service Fee: Commission charged by Tripflip from the seller when a booking is successfully sold.
- User Wallet: Temporary virtual balance stored with our payment partner until buyer check-in completion.
2. Acceptance of Terms
Using Tripflip means you agree that:
- Tripflip is a marketplace only.
- The contract for any booking sale is strictly between buyer and seller.
- Tripflip only facilitates transfer of booking details and payment collection.
If you do not agree, please do not use Tripflip.
3. How Tripflip Works
3.1 For Sellers
- You can list any non-refundable hotel booking by submitting correct details.
- You must ensure the hotel/OTA allows name changes.
- You must upload accurate booking details. Incorrect details may result in listing removal.
3.2 For Buyers
- All bookings on Tripflip are NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Buyer must carefully verify hotel name, dates, room type, amenities, and price before purchase.
- After purchase, Tripflip will assist in transferring the booking to the buyer’s name.
4. Payments & Fees
4.1 Payment Flow
- Buyer pays full booking amount to Tripflip.
- Tripflip holds the amount securely with our payment provider.
- Seller receives payment after 24 hours of buyer check-out, once booking is verified.
4.2 Commission
Tripflip charges the seller a service fee (percentage of selling price). Fee is deducted automatically while releasing payment.
4.3 Taxes
Any government taxes applicable will be added as required by law.
5. User Responsibilities
Users agree not to:
- Upload false/incorrect booking details
- List a booking that cannot be transferred
- Sell a booking more than once
- Post illegal, offensive, or misleading content
Tripflip may suspend or delete accounts violating these rules.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
6.1 For Buyers
- All bookings are 100% Non-refundable.
- No cancellations, no date changes, and no refunds.
- If buyer does not show up, arrives late, or checks out early, no refund will be issued.
6.2 For Sellers
- Seller cannot cancel a listing after it is bought by a buyer.
- If seller fails to provide a valid transferable booking, Tripflip may take action including withholding payment.
6.3 Disputes
Tripflip will resolve disputes between buyer and seller based on submitted evidence. Tripflip’s decision will be final.
7. Limitation of Liability
- Tripflip is NOT responsible for hotel quality, amenities, check-in experience, or hotel-related issues.
- Tripflip is NOT responsible for additional charges collected by hotels (taxes, deposits, meals, etc.).
- Tripflip is NOT liable for inaccurate information submitted by the seller.
You use the platform at your own risk.
8. Privacy
We collect minimal personal information required to:
- Create your account
- Process payments
- Transfer bookings
